The IPP/IEP System is used by thousands of teachers across Alberta, and has generated tens of thousands of IPPs to be submitted to provincial governments.
IPPS is an online system available for users to access anywhere they have internet access. Control of the system is maintained through using login IDs and passwords to ensure users may only access IPPs they are involved with. Unless a user is an administrator they may only access IPPs if they are on the planning team for that IPP. They may only make changes to those IPPs if they are given edit access.
The transfer of information from the user computer to the host server is secured using an SSL Certificate. IPPS may not be accessed without using the certificate and must use the HTTPS address for the system.
